Free Summer Meals Available This Summer ☀️🍎

EdAdvance is offering federally funded free summer meals for all children age 18 and under through the Summer Meals Program. This program helps provide families with access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months at no cost.

Each eligible child will receive a weekly Grab & Go meal package containing 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches. Children do not need to be present at pickup to receive meals.

Pickup Locations & Schedule:

📍 RLC (Former East School), Torrington�215 Hogan Drive�Every Wednesday | 3:30–5:30 PM�July 1 – August 19

📍 First Congregational Church, Torrington�835 Riverside Ave�Every Wednesday | 11:15 AM–12:15 PM�July 1 – August 19

📍 Plymouth Food Bank, Terryville�20 Dewey Ave�Every Friday | 11:30 AM–1:00 PM�July 3 – August 14

Important Eligibility Information:�Children who attend a program where free summer meals are already provided through the Summer Meals Program are not eligible for this Grab & Go meal pickup.

We’re looking for parent & student volunteers to help at this fun event where students can proudly share the plants they’ve grown this year. 🌼🪴

Field Day is coming up, and Mr. Morgan is looking for parent volunteers! ☀️🎉

This is such a fun opportunity to spend time with your child, see them in action with their friends, and help make one of the most exciting days of the school year extra special! From games and races to lots of laughs and cheering, Field Day is always a favorite memory for our students. 💦
