Sometimes the best networking doesn’t feel like networking at all. 🍷🫶🏻🍾

Our W**e Down with WEN event brought together an incredible group of women for an evening of w**e tasting, connection, and — most importantly — real conversation.

Between sips, we talked about the things so many women are navigating every day: building careers while raising families, motherhood, relationships, professional growth, changing priorities, big goals, hard seasons, and trying to find a little balance somewhere in between.

There were no perfect answers and no need to have it all figured out — just authentic conversations with real women who understand that our lives extend far beyond our job titles.

A special thank you to Baker Cheese Company for hosting our w**e tasting and to BK Corrosion for making this evening possible. We’re so grateful for partners who believe in creating spaces where women in energy can connect, support one another, and grow together.

And thank you to Allegheny Science & Technology for welcoming us into your beautiful space!

Here’s to more evenings filled with good w**e, meaningful connections, plenty of laughter, and women cheering on women. 🥂✨

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.💜 In an effort to support WV women and children who are victims of domestic violence, Women’s Energy Network WV is kicking off its Annual Purses for Power Drive. 👜 This community service project helps women and children who are victims of domestic violence in the state of WV by providing purses and backpacks filled with hygiene supplies to families in shelters throughout the state.

🙋🏼‍♀️👛 How can you help? Bring your new or gently used purses to any of the drop off locations shown here between Charleston and Morgantown. You may also purchase hygiene supplies for women and children and drop off at one of our collection sites.

🛍️🔗 If you don’t have time to go out and shop, please scan the QR code or use the link below to connect to our amazon wish list. Donations will directly be sent to us.

Women's Energy Network-WV launched Purses For Power in 2021, and since then has donated hundreds of purses and hygiene supplies to support women and children entering shelters in North Central West Virginia after crimes of domestic or sexual violence.

Thank you for being part of this very special project!
