On this National Bicycle Day, we’re reflecting on one of the most meaningful journeys we’ve ever been part of.

Over the course of four days, Justin Kotajarvi of Golden Valley Police Department (MN) completed approximately 220 miles — 66 miles the first day, 76 miles across Delaware into Annapolis, 55 miles through cold rain and near hypothermic conditions, and finally the emotional ride into Washington, D.C. to the Survivors’ Hotel.

Every mile was a grind through extreme heat, brutal wind, freezing rain, exhaustion, and pain, but every mile carried a purpose.

He along with his teammates completed this ride to honor all fallen law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

While the physical challenge was real, the emotional weight of the journey meant even more. Seeing the support along the way and remembering why we were riding made every difficult mile worth it.

It was an honor to have this incredible accomplishment completed in Derek’s name and for all of the law enforcement community in remembrance of those we’ve lost and will never forget.

That means we're only:

⭐ 3 states away from all 50
⭐ 18 countries away from our goal of 25
⭐ 20 counties away from all 55 West Virginia counties

But here's what matters most...

These aren't just numbers.

Every registration helps us honor fallen officers, support officers and their families, fund scholarships, provide equipment and resources, and continue growing the mission that Derek inspired so many years ago.

Every state.
Every country.
Every county.

They all represent people who believe in honoring our heroes and making a difference.

So today, we're asking for your help.
