We are down to just a few days left to register, and while some might look at these goals and think they're ambitious, we've never been a group that backs away from a challenge.

Right now, because of YOU, we have:

🇺🇸 47 states represented
🌎 7 countries represented
🗺️ 35 West Virginia counties represented

That means we're only:

⭐ 3 states away from all 50
⭐ 18 countries away from our goal of 25
⭐ 20 counties away from all 55 West Virginia counties

But here's what matters most...

These aren't just numbers.

Every registration helps us honor fallen officers, support officers and their families, fund scholarships, provide equipment and resources, and continue growing the mission that Derek inspired so many years ago.

Every state.
Every country.
Every county.

They all represent people who believe in honoring our heroes and making a difference.

So today, we're asking for your help.

After months of training, planning, fundraising, recruiting, sharing, and believing in this mission, the week we've all been waiting for is finally here.

• In-Person Registration – 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at the Bridgeport Farmers Market for both the Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K and Paint The Night Blue

🎂 Tuesday, June 2
• Derek's Birthday

A day to remember his life, service, and sacrifice continues to inspire this mission 15 years later.

🚨 ONE WEEK TO GO! 🚨

Next Saturday, June 6, 2026, our community will come together for one incredible day of honoring heroes, supporting those who serve, and making a difference.

🏃‍♂️ The 16th Annual Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K
✨ Paint The Night Blue

What started as a way to honor Derek's memory has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.

Because of supporters like YOU, we've been able to:
💙 Award scholarships to students and officers
💙 Support law enforcement officers and departments
💙 Provide equipment and training assistance
💙 Deliver meals and encouragement to officers across West Virginia
💙 Honor the fallen while supporting those who continue to serve

And we're not done yet.

Next Saturday morning, thousands of footsteps will help carry this mission forward at the DHFS5K.

Then that evening, we'll gather at Paint The Night Blue for a night of music, friends, laughter, raffles, bourbon tastings, great food, and celebrating the incredible law enforcement community that means so much to all of us.

Whether you're running, walking, volunteering, attending Paint The Night Blue, participating virtually, or simply cheering us on from afar, you are part of this mission.
