Here’s a Paddy (aka Charlie) pupdate. Paddy is loving life and we are loving life with Paddy! He has a lot of puppy energy! He loves snuggles, bubbles, baby pools, the farmers market, and play dates at Leader of the Pack! He is full of joy and we’re grateful that he’s ours!

💜💚FRIDAY FIV+ FEATURE💚💜
Cheech once was outside. There he tried to learn how to survive.
All he seemed to find was FIV+.
And then, someone found him.
Then he was inside. A temporary space. Not a home, but his finder got him neutered and tried to spend time with him.

He moved a recliner in the space so he didn't have to sit with him on the floor.
But it wasn't enough he thought.
This cat deserved more.

Next there was a fire in the other half of the building and his finder then knew he needed more.

Cheech doesn't need the finer things in life. He needs a lap. He needs someone to understand he can be a little jumpy and scared of loud noises and actions.
He needs to be inside and loved. He needs his favorite foods. Or food in general.

Cheech has a bit of a head tilt and a chronic congested sound. We think that just makes him even cuter.

He recently had a dental and was checked for a polyp, but none was found.

Cheech would like a home where he can finish the Spider Noir series he had been watching.

Cheech is 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV, litter trained and microchipped. He is positive for FIV but please don’t let this deter you from considering him for adoption. FIV+ cats can live long and happy lives. FIV cats can reside with dogs without any concern. FIV+ cats can reside with other friendly cats who are either FIV + or FIV-. FIV is transmitted only through deep bite wounds, typically during mating. FIV is not transmitted between cats from sharing food/water bowls or litter boxes. FIV is not transmitted between cats during mutual grooming.

🐾Please read each dog’s caption carefully as some of them are in foster homes and not at the shelter.
🐾Dog adoptions will not take place during this timeframe. Applications will only be taken.
🐾Please keep your current dogs at home!
🐾Please do your best to have ALL (human) members of the household present to meet the dogs.

Looking for a sweet addition to your family? Brownie’s the perfect mix! 🍫🤎

Brownie is a sweet but shy little guy who is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. He came to PA from a hoarding situation down south.

He would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident pup to help him continue to blossom.
He is a playful and fun JRT mix around 5 months old. Brownie absolutely adores his foster mom and dad, sleeps in bed all night long, and is doing great with housetraining! His ideal home would be one where someone is around more often than not and where he can have another dog buddy to play with. Because he’s still building confidence, Brownie would do best with older children.

Have you been keeping an eye out for a great feline companion? Blinky is certainly an eye catching beauty. But Blinky is more than just eye candy. This girl is quiet, gentle, independent, brave and affectionate. She has so many good qualities, you will be absolutely starry-eyed.

However, Blinky has a story that may make you teary-eyed. Blinky and her sister were adopted into a loving home. Sadly, Blinky was recently returned for lash-ing out at her sister. As they grew older, the sisters did not see eye to eye. For the most successful adoption, Blinky is recommended to be the only cat in the home.

If you’re considering adopting Blinky, you should act quickly - she will scooped up in the blink of an eye. Bring Blinky home and she will always be the apple of your eye.

💜💚Alumni update: Manchego (FIV+)💚💜

I adopted manchego (now Cheddar) on Wednesday last week. Just wanted to update you…he made himself right at home. Within hours of bringing him home, he was begging for pets and making biscuits (his favorite activity) on me while curled in bed together. He even let me cut a few of his nails the first night without being bothered by it! By morning he was running over to my 3yr old little brother to introduce himself (and beg for pets lol). I’ve never even heard of a cat warming up so quickly! But he’s so perfect, and truly everything I could’ve asked for and more. You guys are the best!
