Purdue Extension - Clay County Purdue Extension is a service tailored to meet the needs of Indiana, needs we know firsthand.

Our educators, specialists, and volunteers live and work in all 92 Indiana counties. We provide the link between Land Grant research and Indiana citizens. In doing that we provide practical solutions to local issues. We provide information and expertise that's available in the form you want, when you want it. That's Purdue Extension, Indiana's home team advantage. The Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service program areas are:

4-H Youth Development

Purdue Extension’s Nutrition Education Program is currently hiring new Community Nutrition Advisors to support the statewide Smart SNAP Education initiative as part of Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). We have several posted positions across rural Indiana. These positions will work in rural communities across Indiana to provide nutrition and physical activity education, build community partnerships, and help create healthier places to live, learn, work, and play.

Are you planning on making a visit to the great Indiana State Fair?! Are you needing some tickets?? Participate in our food drive and help your local community in the process! The state fair is open now through Sunday August 23rd, closed Mondays.

A donation of 10 food items or $10 will get you 1 ticket to the state fair. All proceeds will go to the Clay County Emergency Food Pantry.

🍀Clay County 4-H has great representation at the state fair! We have several amazing projects showcased in the exhibit hall and many livestock exhibitors who are taking there animals to compete. Go out and support our local youth!🍀
