Today, June 6th, 2026 we commemorate 82 years since the D-Day Normandy landings in 1944 & all the sacrifices that were made to end World War Two. It is the largest naval, airborne & land operation in history. They will never be forgotten. 🙏🇺🇸

🇺🇸 The Brawley Elks Lodge #1420 invites our members, and our community to come together for a special Flag Day Service, displaying the various flags of our country & their history, leading up to our current flag, old glory. This service will be held at the Veterans Honor Wall in Brawley. 🇺🇸

Today on Memorial Day, we pay tribute to those who have given their lives in defense of our great nation & especially our families who stand strong & continue to carry on their memories. Let us strive to make everyday, a day of honor & remembrance for these brave defenders of freedom. We shall never forget them.

Thank you to all our community who participated in our Memorial Day walk from Westmorland to Brawley, the City of Brawley, Brawley Police & Fire, Imperial County Sherrif Dept. & Imperial County Transit who supported us along the route & Ceremony at Riverview Cemetery.

Join us for the 14th Annual Imperial Valley Memorial Day Walk this Monday, May 25th as we come together to honor and remember the brave men & women who gave their lives in service to our country.

🕕 Meet at Brawley Elks Lodge before Monday morning 6:30 AM to catch the bus to the starting point.
🚶 Walk begins at 7:00 AM from Westmorland City Park.
📍 Route travels along Highway 86, through the bypass on Highway 78, and ends at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.

🎖️ Memorial Ceremony at 10:00 AM
(in partnership with the City of Brawley)

💧 Water, restrooms, and safety es**rt vehicles will be provided along the route.

🍔 After the ceremony, join us back at the Brawley Elks Lodge for free hamburgers and hot dogs. 🌭

✅ Free event — no registration required
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All ages are welcome!
