📢 TODAY'S FOOD DRIVE POSTPONED 📢

Today's Big Y Food Drive benefiting the Branford Food Pantry has been postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience and will share a new date as soon as it is available.

We are grateful to Big Y and their employees for their continued partnership and support of our mission to help local families facing food insecurity.

Most importantly, thank you to our community members, volunteers, donors, and supporters who continue to stand with the Branford Food Pantry. Your generosity helps us provide groceries and hope to hundreds of neighbors in need throughout the year.

Today is the day, Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM come join us at Branford Big Y for a food drive benefiting the Branford Food Pantry.

Shoppers can purchase convenient pre-packaged food bags at checkout to donate directly to the Pantry. Big Y employees will also be collecting cash donations throughout the event. With food costs continuing to challenge many families, your support helps ensure that our neighbors have access to the food they need.

A heartfelt thank you to Big Y and its employees for hosting this event and supporting our mission to feed those in need.

Join us this Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Big Y World Class Market for a special food drive benefiting the Branford Food Pantry.

As you shop, simply add a pre-packaged donation bag to your purchase and help stock our shelves with food that will go directly to local families in need. You can also make a cash donation during the event.

🚐 VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED 🚐

Looking to give a few hours each week and make a real difference in our community?

The Branford Food Pantry is seeking volunteer drivers to help pick up food donations from local grocery stores using the Pantry's van. These food pickups help keep our shelves stocked and ensure we can continue serving neighbors in need.

📅 Pickup days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, with flexible scheduling available.

Requirements:
✅ Valid Connecticut driver's license in good standing
✅ Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
✅ Desire to help fight food insecurity in our community

Whether you're retired, have a flexible schedule, or simply want to give back, we'd love to hear from you!
