Thank you to the kind soul who called in a $500 donation.

Those questioning if the bill was actually the amount posted can scoot. I don’t have time for the BS.

1. Yes, LLLFS spent an astronomical amount of DONATED FUNDS EARMARKED FOR SWEETPEA from May 14 to June 17.

2. Yes, Sweetpea is worth every cent of of that $21,000. The 14k skull plate surgery was always the plan and in the making since April 2025. Yesterday was a hiccup in her recovery, and while not planned for, Sweetpea’s animal ambassadors across the literal world stepped up and handled all but $600 of the 6.5k

3. No veterinarian has recommended euthanasia

LLLFS will not defend ourselves over any of our decisions regarding our residents we are charged to care for. Period.

Going forward, negative comments will be simply hidden, and that person blocked. I’ll be damned if I sit here and create an intentional peaceful refuge while keyboard warriors, incels, chads, Kyles, and karens pop off for a sprinkle of attention.

Plate looks good. No infection. Still working on things, but Pea is missing her entire olfactory lobe and portion of her frontal lobe of her brain.

In route now to Access Veterinary. Her Neurologist has been called. He’s assembling the team.
