All day long, a portion of sales goes straight to the foundation, the hands and heart behind the practical support we provide to families facing crisis right here in Hillsborough County. One meal at a time adds up to real help: a repair, a bill covered, a family steadied.

🎉❤️ WE ARE HONORED TO BE A FINALIST! ❤️🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Angel Foundation FL has been selected as a FINALIST in the Valrico Fishhawk Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards – Nonprofit Organization Category! 🏆

What an incredible honor, especially as we celebrate 20 YEARS of bringing HELP and HOPE to families in our community facing cancer, life-threatening illnesses, and other catastrophic circumstances!

This recognition belongs to our AMAZING volunteers, dedicated Board of Directors, generous sponsors, donors, and community partners who make our mission possible every single day! ❤️

We are so grateful to the Valrico Fishhawk Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and to our wonderful community for believing in the work we do.

As I shared on our application, “The Angels who serve through the Angel Foundation FL do not do this work for accolades or attention. We serve quietly, honoring the dignity and privacy of the families we walk alongside. We provide HELP and HOPE because we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Every day, families face some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable. Through the Foundation Angel program, we provide practical solutions, compassion, love, and support during their darkest days. Since 2006, we have served thousands of families. For those who do not qualify for our program, we connect them with trusted community resources to meet their specific needs. We are currently serving 23 households, some of whom have been part of our program for more than a year. We share our work through our Angel Foundation Podcast, giving Angel Families, volunteers, and generous sponsors an opportunity to share their stories and the impact of this work. Receiving this award would help raise awareness of the Angel Foundation FL so that when someone receives that dreaded call—“You have cancer” or experiences a crisis, our community knows where to turn. We want to help more families because, at its heart, this is simply neighbors helping neighbors. And that is always a blessing."

Meeting a family's practical needs is only half the story.

Once the immediate crisis is handled, so much more surfaces. The isolation. The depression. The weight of having to "hold it together" for everyone else. That's where our Angel team leaders step in, not as case managers, but as a safe place to vent, to be heard, and to be met with empathy instead of judgment.

Sometimes it looks like a hot meal or a paid bill. Sometimes it looks like someone sitting with you while you fall apart, so you don't have to do it in front of your kids.

Both are the work. Both are the mission.

"I'm here to help you." That's the heart of what Paul shared with us.

Paul has worn a lot of hats with Angel Foundation FL: board member, sponsor of this year's Evening of Hope Gala, and above all, a true partner in this mission. In this episode, he talks about what actually makes our Angel Team's work different: we don't just send help, we show up. Our members visit families directly to understand their real situation and figure out exactly how to help, no matter how big or small the need.

Our Junior Angels have been busy with hearts and hands ready to serve. This week, our youth program gathered to put together Blessing Bags for families in our community facing hard seasons, filling each one with the kind of practical care that reminds someone they're not alone.

This is what it looks like to raise up the next generation of givers. Our Junior Angels are learning early that compassion isn't just a feeling, it's an action you can pack into a bag and hand to a neighbor in need.

Twenty years ago, our founder lost her father to lung cancer. In that season, she saw families facing real need with nowhere to turn.

That became the Angel Team.

Today, Angel Team Leaders walk directly alongside families, going into homes, meeting people where they are, and assessing what's needed now and down the road. It's not a one-time handout. It's a relationship that says you are not alone.

We're grateful for partners like Suncoast Credit Union, who've made this possible for years.
