As we celebrate 20 years, we're sharing 20 stories of families our Angel Team has walked alongside.

This is Bob's story.

At the start of 2025, longtime Angel Foundation FL supporter Bob was given just weeks to live due to severe heart disease. Hundreds of miles away in Wisconsin, a family he had befriended years earlier over a German Shepherd puppy reached out with heartbreaking news: their 28-year-old son had tragically passed away in a car accident.

In the midst of unimaginable grief, his mother made an extraordinary decision—she offered Bob her son's heart.

"What do you say when someone is giving you the gift of life? Because remember, I was scheduled to die." — Bob

The transplant was a perfect match, but the road to recovery was just beginning. That’s where our Angels stepped in:

✨ In the Hospital: Visiting Bob and his wife on Christmas Day with meals, gifts, and encouragement.

✨ At Home: Providing financial assistance for utilities, groceries, and gas to ease the burden of medical bills.

Today, Bob has a healthy heart beating in his chest. A grieving family said yes to organ donation, a young father’s legacy lives on, and a grandfather was given more time.

We provide HELP with expenses, offer HOPE through crisis, and witness true miracles. 💙
