Today, we want to acknowledge and thank all of our sponsors for the investment you are making in the lives of 71 women and their families in Uganda this year! We could not fulfill the call of God to serve the vulnerable women of Uganda without our sponsors. Thanks to each of you!

Every woman sponsored is now working towards building a second business so that she can support her family. We were pleased to see how well these women had started their first businesses while we visited Uganda in - so it was time to start on their second businesses. By the end of March of 2028, they will have their third business up and running well. This is all possible because of our sponsors!!

May God remind you today sponsors that "...Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it unto me." (Matthew 25:40)

A new Baking Club group has started at our God Is Grace Women's Ministry Training Center in Jinja, Uganda! This club just started again with new women who were recommended by pastors. Many of these women do not attend a church, but the Pastors find them struggling in their communities. The Pastors recommend these women to us for our classes and clubs, knowing their situations. Our classes/clubs cost nothing but some supplies must be brought by students.

Nora, our Baking teacher, is demonstrating skills needed in Baking. Our sponsors for our clubs and classes provide us with funds so that our teachers have money to buy what is needed to train the students.

Our classes will resume September 1. Till then, the air will be filled by our Baking Club's delicious baked goods!

Our Uganda Mission Trip video!! Who is ready to go next year!

It seemed there was so much against us this year in getting to Uganda. Difficulties though were set aside because of God's call to go. This is why we ask every person first, "has God told you to go?" who want to go with us.

I share this to say - some of you may be hearing His call to go with us. If you hear Him, reach out to us. We are working on dates for next year already. The call is clear and consistent. When God calls, you will know it and from there, HE WILL work it out for you to go. Don't under estimate what God can do! If He can take coins from a fish's mouth (Matthew 17:27) to pay a tax, He can get you to where He is sending you.

We frame our mission trips around those who come with us and their gifting. We are considering doing a dental clinic and/or a medical clinic next year which takes people to implement (not just medically trained). We also need people willing to paint a school or our center while in Uganda. We have so many ways one can serve.

We are clay in His hands.

Sponsorship has enabled Babra to begin a business. Her sponsor's gifts have given her capital to start this business.

We recently relocated two sponsored women, Anna and Justine as their homes were deplorable. They were living in conditions that just should not exist. Both had children under these roofs.

Today, we took mattresses, blankets, and bedsheets, to both of them. For Justine, whose husband left her and four children and took EVERYTHING in her home when he left, we bought household items like a charcoal stove, tea kettle, pots to cook with, towels, etc. so she could focus on caring for her children and building her businesses. Both women were told how much Jesus loves them and how He is their provider.

We have many more women needing to be relocated. A gift to this ministry will greatly help us relocate other women like Justine and Anna.

On Tuesday, we took the food we packed on Sunday to a new community called Makenke. This community is where many brew alcohol. We encouraged the pastor to reach out of the church to give this food. In the process of sharing the food with the people there, three people gave their lives to Christ! We were so excited to see how God used this food to build His Kingdom.

Later we went to Tata Primary school run by Alice and Mutassa. We enjoyed warm hospitality and a presentation by their students.

At the end of the day, a surprise party was given for W***y, the IT man at Hotel Paradise.

Hard to believe that Ashley and Audrey will be leaving us on Wednesday. We will miss them for sure!

A great team builder yesterday!! Mudding the home of a God Is Grace sponsored woman! This will allow her home to last several more years. This woman is quite pregnant but joined us anyway! We had a lot of fun.
