Another Tragedy. Another Life Stolen. Another Family Forever Changed.

This is 26-year-old Charice Brown.
After making the difficult decision to leave her abusive relationship, she received a chilling text message from the father of two of her children:
"Your balloon release is coming."

Her family knew exactly what he meant.
Just weeks earlier, they had released balloons in memory of Charice's brother, who had been murdered.

Less than 24 hours later, Charice was on the phone with 911, desperately pleading for her life. The dispatcher heard her scream, "He's killing me!" Moments later, the line went silent.

According to prosecutors, he stabbed her multiple times before shooting and killing her.

This wasn't a crime of passion.
It wasn't because he "loved her too much."
It wasn't because he "just snapped."
This was domestic violence. This was coercive control. This was the deadly reality that so many women face when they decide to leave.

One of the most dangerous times in an abusive relationship is when a victim leaves. That is often when an abuser realizes they are losing control, and for some, that loss of control turns into lethal violence.

Charice was a mother of four. She was a certified nursing assistant who loved caring for others. She had dreams. She had a family who loved her. She had a future that was stolen.

And yet, there will still be people who ask, "Why didn't she leave sooner?"

The better question is:
Why do we continue to minimize the warning signs of abuse until another woman loses her life?

Domestic violence has no preference. It doesn't discriminate by age, race, education, income, or profession. It thrives on power, control, intimidation, and fear.

Today, we remember Charice Brown.
We pray for her children. And we continue speaking for those whose voices were silenced.

If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, please don't wait. Tell someone. Create a safety plan. Reach out for help.
One conversation could save a life.

💜 In memory of Charice Brown.

👹The Devil Lied to You

I hate to interrupt your pity party, but the devil lied to you. You are not the only one‼️

Somebody, somewhere understands exactly what you're feeling. The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. There is nothing you're facing that has never been experienced by someone else.

The enemy convinced you that your situation is so unique, so shameful, and so embarrassing that you should keep it hidden. He whispered that if you told anyone, they would reject you.

But the truth is, the devil isn't afraid of your silence because of your pain. He's afraid of your voice.

Because if you start talking, you just might find someone who survived what you're going through. You might meet someone who found the escape route. You might discover someone who will dismantle every excuse you've been holding onto and lovingly challenge you to stop settling for the life you've been surviving instead of the life God has called you to live.

I've lived through...

- Molestation
- Domestic violence
- Teen pregnancy
- Perinatal loss
- Theft
- Jail
- Infidelity
- Abortions
- Su***de attempts
- Divorce
- Lying
- Ma*****na addiction
- Promiscuity
- Low self-esteem
- Anxiety
- Fear
- Depression

Yet by the grace of God...

I'm still standing.

I am living proof that you do not have to become a victim of your circumstances. I am evidence that God still saves. God still heals. God still delivers. And God still restores.

The devil lied to you because isolation is one of his greatest weapons. If he can convince you to stay hidden, he can keep you from walking in everything God intended for your life.

But God knew every chapter of your story before you ever lived it.

He knew every failure
Every heartbreak.
Every mistake.
Every trauma.

And He still called you.

So today, I challenge you: Get up out of the depression. Get up out of the isolation. Get up out of the anxiety. Get up out of the fear.
Move‼️

Take one step toward healing, one step toward freedom, one step toward purpose...
Then stand back and watch what God does.

💌Because your movement is a far greater threat to the enemy than he could ever be to you.

🚨JOIN ME IN PRAYER, type Amen & share!
A Call to Prayer for the Daughters of God

Today, I am asking 100 men and 100 women to stand in agreement with me in prayer for women all around the world.

The violence against women has reached heartbreaking proportions. We are witnessing senseless murders, domestic violence, abuse, trafficking, manipulation, and oppression at alarming rates. This is not merely a social issue—it is a spiritual battle that demands a spiritual response.

Scripture tells us in Joel 2:17, "Let the priests, who minister before the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar." It also reminds us in Isaiah 62:6-7 that God has appointed watchmen upon the walls who refuse to keep silent until His purposes are established.

Today, I am asking you to become one of those watchmen.

Stand at the city gates. Lift up your voice. Wail out loud and spare not. Cry out to God on behalf of His daughters. Let us intercede for those who cannot pray for themselves because they are trapped in fear, abuse, manipulation, and violence. Let us believe together that God is still a Deliverer, still a Protector, and still a Defender of the oppressed.

Will you stand in agreement with me?

Father God,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are God. There is none like You.

We thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, Your loving-kindness, Your faithfulness, Your covering, and Your protection. We thank You for the compassion You have toward Your daughters. Thank You for creating women with intentional purpose, dignity, strength, and beauty. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, crafted by Your own hands for Your glory.

Father, we recognize that from the very beginning there has been enmity between the serpent and the woman. The enemy has always sought to destroy what You have chosen to bring life through. Even our Savior, Jesus Christ, entered this world through the womb of a woman according to Your divine plan. Because women carry life, purpose, generations, and destiny, the enemy has waged war against them from the beginning.

Today, we see that battle intensifying. We grieve the rising number of women who are being abused, assaulted, stalked, trafficked, and murdered. Our hearts are broken for the daughters who are living in fear and for the families forever changed by unimaginable loss.

But today we stand in the gap.

Father, we ask You to cover every woman around the world with the precious blood of Jesus. Be a wall of fire around them and the glory within them. Surround them with Your angels. Protect them from violence, manipulation, coercion, control, and every assignment of darkness.

Lord, intervene where danger is present. Expose hidden abuse. Reveal every evil plan before it can be carried out. Frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm Your daughters. Give women discernment to recognize danger, courage to leave unsafe situations, and wisdom to hear and obey Your voice.

Father, make a way of escape for every woman who feels trapped. Open doors that no man can shut. Send the right people to help them. Raise up shelters, counselors, churches, law enforcement officers, advocates, families, and friends who will respond with compassion, wisdom, and urgency.

Lord, we humble ourselves before You in repentance. Forgive us for every way we have departed from Your wisdom. Where we have trusted our own understanding instead of Yours, have mercy upon us. Heal our hearts, restore us, and draw us back into alignment with Your will. But Father, we also declare that abuse is never justified, and we ask You to rescue every victim and bring every hidden work of darkness into the light.

We pray for women who are suffering physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually, and psychologically. Break every chain of fear, intimidation, manipulation, and control. Sever every unhealthy soul tie. Heal every broken heart. Restore every shattered identity. Remind Your daughters that they are loved, chosen, valuable, and worthy because they belong to You.

Father, raise up righteous men who will honor, protect, and value women according to Your design. Remove hearts of violence and replace them with hearts that fear You. Let fathers teach their sons honor, self-control, gentleness, and respect.

Raise up Your Church to no longer remain silent. Raise up watchmen on the walls who will cry aloud and spare not. Raise up intercessors who will refuse to grow weary in prayer until justice, healing, and freedom are established. Raise up voices that will defend the vulnerable and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.

We pray for every family mourning the loss of a daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, or friend. Comfort those whose hearts have been shattered by violence. We especially lift up the children who have been left without their mothers. Surround them with loving caregivers. Heal their trauma. Protect their futures, and let them know that You will never leave nor forsake them.

Father, let hope arise. Let healing arise. Let freedom arise. Let purpose arise in the lives of Your daughters.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We declare that You are their refuge and fortress. We declare that You are Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our Banner, and Jehovah Shalom, our Peace.

Lord, awaken this generation to stand in prayer, to stand in truth, and to stand in love. Let us refuse to be silent while Your daughters are under attack.

We ask all of this in the mighty, matchless, and victorious name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Another woman has lost her life.

Her name was Tasha. She was 47 years old, a devoted mother of four, and a dedicated City of St. Petersburg employee who faithfully served her community for more than 10 years. She was known as a hardworking, respected, and loved woman by her family, friends, coworkers, and community.

Tasha did work that many people never imagine women doing. She operated a front-loader tractor for the city's sanitation department—a demanding job that reflected her strength, resilience, and commitment to serving her city.

According to investigators, this was a domestic dispute. During her lunch break, while at her home and sitting in her city work vehicle, Tasha was shot five times and tragically lost her life.

Authorities identified the suspect as LaDavion King. Reports indicate that after the shooting, he fled the scene and was later shot on I-75 near Fort Myers.

As heartbreaking as this entire situation is, I can't help but think about the questions that may never be answered. Four children are now without their mother. A family has been forever changed. Coworkers have lost someone they worked alongside for more than a decade.

This is the devastation domestic violence leaves behind.

Ladies, I want to encourage you to seek God's wisdom and discernment. Never ignore controlling behavior, threats, intimidation, stalking, or violence. When someone's actions make you fear for your safety, take those warning signs seriously. Your life is precious, and leaving an abusive situation should be done with wisdom, support, and a safety plan.

Today, I ask you to join me in praying for Tasha's children, her family, her friends, her coworkers, and the entire St. Petersburg community.

We cannot wait until October to have these conversations.

Women are losing their lives now.
