Good morning, Auxiliary 10141! Today, June 10, 2026, will be Jean Preacher’s last meeting as our 2025–2026 Auxiliary President. If you’re able, please join us for our 6:30 p.m. business meeting.

I know we all have busy lives, but giving one hour on the second Wednesday of each month makes a real difference. This is where we take care of Auxiliary business, pay our bills, and share ideas for supporting our veterans and our community. This is your Auxiliary, and we’d love to have you be part of it. Please don’t leave it all to just a handful of people—come join us! 🇺🇸

On the 82nd Anniversary of D-Day, we pause to remember the Normandy landings of 6 June 1944—the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during the Second World War. Codenamed Operation Neptune and often remembered simply as D-Day, it remains the largest seaborne invasion in history.

We remember and honor those who gave their lives in the cause of freedom. Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion will never be forgotten, and each day stands as a testament to the price they paid for generations to come. 🇺🇸

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10141 in Bradenton, Florida, organized a poignant Memorial Day ceremony, fostering a sense of hope and appreciation within the community while paying tribute to the ultimate sacrifice made by the nation's heroes. Led by the Commander, Chaplain, and Honor Guard, the event embodied the values of unity and compassion.

Appreciation is extended to the Post and Auxiliary members for their tireless efforts and dedication, which contributed significantly to the occasion's success, as well as to Cassandra Lynn Hayward the Post Canteen Manager for her outstanding leadership in coordinating the food and volunteers, selling raffle tickets and jello-shots. The attendees' presence and generosity were truly appreciated. We can't do these events without our volunteers, members and guests. Thank you! 🇺🇲
