It saddens us to have to postpone our Story Time and Crafts in the Park today but due to the threat of heavy thunderstorms and lightning we will have to reschedule the event.
So please come down Wednesday June 24th at 1 PM to the Brackenridge Memorial Park, the weather is supposed to be so much better than today 😊

We had a great turn out for Story Time & Crafts in the Park today 🌞 it was such a gorgeous day to make birdhouses and all our little neighbors made such wonderful ones 💚 the birds are going to love them 😁
We hope to see you next time, there will be a special guest coming to visit us when we read “Chicken in Space” on June 22nd at 12 pm 🐓

A military flyover will be part of the Memorial Day services Monday at the Brackenridge American Legion Post 226. Commander David Mainhart said members will raise the American flag at noon in front of the post at 845 First Ave. Attendees can gather for a ceremony afterward at the monument

Since the weather was not cooperating for the Native Plant Workshop in the park, we decided to make take home kits with seeds, soil, tape and milk jugs (mini greenhouse).
A big thank you again to the Community Library of Allegheny Valley for giving B.I.G all the supplies needed for this workshop 💚
The kids had a lot of fun putting them together after it warmed up a little 😊
