We are open every Tuesday.

Cents of Community continues this month!

For the month of June, when you round up your purchase at the register, you’ll be supporting the Good Neighbors Food Pantry of Boyne City through our Cents of Community program.

The Good Neighbors Food Pantry brings the community together to serve individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Through the generosity of neighbors helping neighbors, the pantry helps ensure that people throughout the Boyne area have access to nutritious food and essential support when they need it most.

A few cents at checkout can go a long way. Thank you for rounding up and supporting your community all month long.

Thank you to the Boyne area residents and postal carriers from the Boyne City Post Office for collecting so many wonderful non perishable food items. The Good Neighbors Food Pantry will be adding these items to our shelves for many in our community to enjoy.

The Good Neighbors Food Pantry is supplying its guests seed starter kits, seeds and guidance to start growing vegetables. To start with, seeds for zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, radishes, peas and lettuce are available. Marigold seeds are available as well, they are great companion plants for veggies, help with pests and are just pretty! When it's time for direct sowing, there will be other seeds available. Fresh Baby provided the easy to use kits at a discount.

Thank you to the Charlevoix County Emergency Response Department for providing 210 pounds of burger and chicken to the Good Neighbors Food Pantry from Ice Storm Recovery dollars. A second round will be given out in 2 weeks. This protein will benefit the many families we serve.
