Hello Taiko fans!

A few of our members will be participating in the Toledo Old West End Fest parade on June 6th at 10am! We'll be on a Mad Max-themed float making tons of noise!

The parade will start at Robinwood and Collins St. and end at Collingwood and Floyd.

Give us a holler if you see us!

The parade starts at 10 am at Robinwood and Collins St. (Glenwood Elementary School). This eclectic convergence of art, music, street theater, and visual wonder will process south through the Old West End (Robinwood, Bancroft, Collingwood) ending at Collingwood and Floyd (Collingwood Presbyterian...

Hello friends! We will be performing a few songs at this event!

Please join us in celebrating the arts, our community, and the expansion of the fabulous Toledo Metroparks!

As part of Watershed Weekend, The Arts Commission invites the community to Art Loop: Starburst, an evening celebrating public art, creativity and connection along the Glass City Riverwalk.

Guests are encouraged to stroll along the Glass City Riverwalk where art and community come together along the water. The evening will feature live music and dance performances, hands-on artmaking experiences for all ages, and an international vendor fair featuring local makers and global flavors.

The event also marks the debut of Starburst, a 15-foot illuminated sculpture installed along the newly restored International Cove at Glass City Metropark – Upriver. The artwork features community-inspired phrases in multiple languages and reflects the many voices and perspectives that contribute to Toledo’s identity.

Starburst is one of many public works of art that help shape the Riverwalk as a welcoming space for gathering, discovery, and shared experiences along the Maumee River.

Yesterday, Anne and Sara took a drive to the Cincinnati Asian Food Festival. Our friends at performed beautifully, and it was so much fun to be able to cheer them on! (Anne and Sara may have also eaten way too much food, but they have no regrets!)

Hey taiko fans!

We are so sorry to announce that tomorrow's performance and learning opportunity that was to take place at the Toledo Botanical Gardens has been canceled due to predicted storms.

We will have another performance and learning opportunity at the Toledo Metroparks Discovery Day on May 16th at Sidecut Metropark.

We apologize to anyone who was planning to come out tomorrow, and we hope to see you on May 16th!
