Bourne Newcomers and Neighbors Club (BNN) is open to men and women residing full or part-time in Bourne. email [email protected] Mario retired this year.

To become a member, you must complete an application and pay a fee of $25 ($35 for couple living at same address). Sandy just bought a condo in Bourne. Susan and Jo moved back from Florida. Two years ago Jamie separated from her partner. Mike is recently widowed. Lynne started her own business recently. What do these folks have in common? They are all experiencing recent life-changing events; they are all “new”. Like other Newcomers Clubs here on Cape Cod, Bourne Newcomers and Neighbors Club (BNN), aims to bring people together in casual, comfortable settings to share similar interests. We welcome people new to Bourne as well as "washashores" - those of us who've been summer-only people, AND our valued long-time residents. At our day time and evening Member Socials, we enjoy interesting speakers and entertainment. A sample of our most popular activity offerings are outdoor recreation, evening card games, book clubs, and dining out, and these continue all through the summer. Many of our club members participate in important community service projects. We’d love to see you at our next meeting. Check the event link on this page, check out our website bournenewcomers.org or leave us a note at [email protected]

On Saturday, October 24, 2026 Sheryl Faye returned to perform Abigail Adams Liberty and Legacy at The Pocasset Community Building.
The performance was co- sponsored by Cataumet Schoolhouse Preservation Group, Bourne Society for Historic Preservation and Bourne Newcomers and Neighbors, and was funded by a grant from the Bourne Cultural Council.

Seventy people enjoyed the multimedia live performance featuring original music, visuals, and readings from Abigail Adams' own letters and personal writings. They also enjoyed a colonial dessert of apple cranberry cobbler and hot chocolate prepared by volunteers from the three sponsoring organizations. It was a fantastic performance enjoyed by all who attended.
