BFA has provided essential life-sustaining and emergency assistance to people in crisis since 1981.

We envision a community where all people have access to an adequate supply of food & sufficient resources.

Brunswick Family Assistance will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

We will reopen with regular business hours on Tuesday, September 8. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

💙 We’re proud to share that BFA is increasing our assistance amounts to better support our Brunswick County neighbors when they need it most.
We know that when you’re facing financial hardship, every little bit of support can make a difference.
Eligibility qualifications remain the same. If you’re behind on rent or utility bills or can’t afford certain medications, you may qualify for assistance.

The holiday season is here, and we’re ready to bring a little extra Christmas magic to families and seniors in our community!

Through our Fill the Sleigh Christmas Program, Brunswick Family Assistance provides Christmas gifts to qualifying applicants ages 0–16 (by the end of the calendar year) and 60+. 🎁

✨ Applications open TODAY — August 24!

If you or someone you know could use a little help making Christmas brighter this year, we’re here to help.

🎄 Applications are open through November 6.
