Mett & Gladys Safe Haven plate sale this Friday 4/8/2022‼️ Board members are now taking pre-orders.
We will also be raffling off 2 Easter baskets. 1 for a child, one for an adult. Tickets are $2.00

This Friday starting at 11am please come out and support this event. Also we are having a pop up raffle. Tickets are $2 or 2 tickets for $5. We are raffling off a adult basket and a easter basket for a child. If you would like to purchase a ticket please see one of our board members. You can purchase tickets up until 4pm on Friday. Raffle will be at 4:30pm. Pre orders end today @ 6pm and Walk up orders are also available on Friday. Thank each and everyone of you for your support.

Brunswick County still accepting applications for the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program

BOLIVIA, N.C. – Brunswick County is accepting applications for LIHWAP, a water/wastewater assistance program, from all eligible applicants.
The LIHWAP, or Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program, is a federally funded program that provides emergency assistance to low-income households to prevent disconnection or provide assistance with reconnection of drinking and wastewater services.

This morning, we had reports of 13 vehicles being broken into in one Brunswick County community. Items taken included wallets, credit cards, loose change and electronic devices.

𝙉𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 13 𝙫𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙙. 🔒🚘=❌

Please, 🔒LOCK YOUR VEHICLES🔒 - even at home! Thieves are looking for easy access and a locked car is a deterrent. Yes, if someone wants access badly enough, they will look for ways to gain entry which will often cause damage to the vehicle. This is a very rare occurrence and typically only happens when something of value is in plain sight.
