Our All Stars journey has come to an end. It’s always tough when the last out is called, especially in a tournament as big as All Stars. And especially since our league hasn’t been involved in tournaments or All Stars in many years. There were some tough moments, but more than anything, there was an incredible amount of heart.
Our teams gave everything they had. They learned what it means to face tough competition, how to pick each other up after a mistake, and how to keep going until the very last pitch. We couldn't be prouder of this group. They played with passion, integrity, and a whole lot of hustle ❤️

We’ve learned A LOT this season, not just with getting back into tournaments and All Stars, but the whole Spring 2026 season as a League. As we look ahead to the future and from what we’ve learned this season on the whole we look forward to keep growing, improving, and building a better program for all of our players and families so we can grow stronger as a baseball community.

A BIG Thank you to our amazing Pine Island community that supported us and cheered us on every step of the way of this journey!!

To our coaches, thank you so much for dedicating your time, patience and baseball knowledge coaching all of our kiddos!
To our families, thank you for showing up, cheering through the ups and downs, trusting us with your children and making our teams feel like family!
And most importantly, thank you to all of our players. You kids are putting in the hard work! We are so proud of each and every one of you! Seeing how far each of you has progressed over the season has been amazing! We hope you enjoy your summer vacation and can’t wait to see all of you for Fall Ball!
Thank you to everyone who made this journey possible. We'll be back, better and stronger! 💪⚾

This year, we say goodbye to 6 players aging out of our league. Some have been with Pine Island Youth Baseball since their T-ball days, while others joined the fun more recently. It has been an absolute joy watching all of them learn, develop, and grow over the years. While we will miss them greatly, we wish them the absolute best in their next chapter. Whether on or off the field, we hope they take the hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and resilience they've built here and apply it to everything they do moving forward.

⚾️Pine Island Youth Baseball Closing Ceremonies 2026 is in the books!⚾️
Thank you ALL for a great baseball season! We had new experiences, learned a lot and will continue to shape and grow for our future players and seasons.
First and most important, thank you to all of our players for showing up to practices and games ready to learn and ready to have fun! Being supportive and encouraging to your fellow teammates. And learning and growing all season. I am incredibly proud of each and everyone one of you!
To our families: thank you for bringing your children to all of the practices and games, washing uniforms and baseball clay out of practice clothes, being encouraging and supportive of all the kids, practicing at home and for being an all around great group of people!
To our coaches: thank you for volunteering your time to teach our players baseball skills, good sportsmanship, and how to work together as a team.
To our team parents: thank you for helping the coaches and players, whether it be wrangling kids in the dugout, getting the right players up to bat in their batting order, giving them snacks and drinks, or a much needed pep talk during a game.
To our umpires: thank you guys for doing your best overseeing all of our games and making the calls, even when players, coaches and spectators argue with some of those calls. It’s a hard position to be in and we’re grateful for you both!
To the Kiwanis Club: thank you for coming out and serving breakfast, helping clean up and for all that you do for the league! I know it was hot and busy and we truly appreciate you all!
To the Matlacha Ho**ers: thank you for coming out and doing the 50/50 raffle for AllStars, it was a great success! And thank you for all you do for the league! Again, I know it was a hot day and we truly appreciate you all!
To ALL of our sponsors this season:
Thank you so much for all of your generous donations the Pine Island Youth Baseball League. Without all of your donations, we wouldn’t be able to run the league or have the necessary equipment for our players!
To Chris, Karlee, Sarah and Seri: thank you for volunteering your time and skills behind the scenes to help the league run smoothly. I couldn’t do it without all of your help!
And finally, a huge thank you to EACH of our baseball families for the card and gift. All of your kind words brought me to tears and meant the world to me. I will continue to do my best running Pine Island Youth Baseball
and look forward to our upcoming fall ball season.

Thank you,
Kate Rowell
