Today, we remember the lives we have lost, support those in recovery and their loved ones, and stand together to prevent overdose and save lives.
You are not alone. Hope, help, and healing are possible.
Let’s continue to break the stigma, raise awareness, support recovery, and remind those who are struggling that “I GOT YOU.” 💜

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Charles-Anthony Fuchs, one of our scholarship recipients, author of Hope Rises, and now a graduate of the Gino Macchio Foundation’s Put Recovery to Work Program.
Charles-Anthony’s journey has taken him through addiction, incarceration, a brain tumor and subsequent surgeries, and countless obstacles. But those challenges did not define his future.
Today, Charles-Anthony is celebrating 10 years of abstinence, has earned his LMSW, and is using his lived experience and professional education to help others find their own path to recovery.
And now, he is graduating from our Put Recovery to Work Program, another milestone in a journey built on perseverance, purpose, and the belief that recovery can open doors to a brighter future.
His book, Hope Rises, shares this powerful journey and reminds us that your past is a chapter. It doesn't have to be the end of the story.
We are honored to have been part of Charles-Anthony’s journey through both the Gino Macchio Foundation Scholarship Program and Put Recovery to Work, and we couldn't be prouder to celebrate all that he has accomplished.
