Surgery went well and Sebastian is recovering comfortably. This rescue was not possible without this community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤️🐻

We raised just about enough money with the raffle to cover his surgery and bloodwork! You’ve blessed us so much that I was able to get baseline bloodwork to start establishing a foundation for his health. We wanna make sure he’s really healthy so we can introduce him to the crew!

OK and Karen, before you go off about that nails. What are some logical … maybe medical-related … reasons his nails are painted…hmmmm

Captive Honey Bears are the worst rainforest mammals. They’re from the treetops of South and Central America which is warm! But Florida summers are brutal.

They do have a built-in cooling systems, like their wild family members, but captive kinks seem to struggle to be comfortable in hot weather… so I’ll do it for them!

Some handle it better than others — Momo is not one of them 🦞🐻🥵
