Senior Safety Program

We are excited to announce that the City of Keiser will tentatively kick off our new Senior Safety Program during the week of July 6th.

A kickoff meeting will be held at the Keiser First Baptist Church MAC Center on a day that week — the exact date and time will be announced shortly.

This meeting is open to all Keiser seniors age 60 and older. We’ll introduce the program, explain the services it will provide, and share how it will support the health, safety, and well‑being of our senior community.

Please make plans to attend.

This program will be a vital service for our seniors, and we need your help spreading the word so no one misses out.

We are so excited to share that we are a recipient of American Library Association’s Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities initiative. MCLS will now become a stronger community resource for all residents. Stay tuned for more details as we get started on this important work.

Our pets are members of our families. Not every dog or cat has found their family yet. So, we are thankful for the groups that help take care of them. Each year during the month of June, our MissCo locations collect much needed supplies for the Blytheville Humane Society and for Mended Paws Sanctuary. Please consider buying a few extra items and dropping them off at one of our branches.

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture🌱 is accepting applications for the Farmers Market Promotion Program, made possible through support from Farm Credit. Funding is available to help markets expand their reach and strengthen connections within their communities.

Eligible activities include:

✅ Signage highlighting market details (name, season, hours, location)
✅ Local advertising such as print and radio
✅ Social media campaigns to boost visibility and engagement

🛍️ The Department is also accepting orders for discounted reusable bags through the Farmers Market Bag Program, helping markets promote sustainability while serving customers.
