Hey Witches, here’s a few tips to make Sunday a bit happier for you!
1. Do not forget to pin on wigs and tie down hats!! The wind hits them harder than you would expect.
2. Books have been sorted into “tossable” and “handable” stacks, so bike riders can pass out candy and books! We suggest attaching a bucket to your bike and also having a satchel or a second basket.
3. Steering bikes with one hand and tossing items with the other is harder than it seems, so give it a little practice before ride time!
4. The hills can be rough- it’s ok to hop off your bike and walk! No shame! Also, golf carts are encouraged to stop to pass out books!
5. We will provide a few wagons for the walking group to transport books and candy, but if you have one please bring it!

✨Making plans to watch the Bluff Park Witches Ride?✨

Here’s what you need to know for where to go! The ride begins at 5pm. We will start and end at The Electric this year, and cut across the Shades Mtn Plaza in front of Shades Mountain Mercantile. There will be plenty of parking and room to stand here. We will then head through the neighborhood. Walkers will take a right on Clearview, while bikers and golf carts will go left and take a longer route. Books and candy will be available anywhere, though the walking loop is likely to have more books. And the section of Clearview between Summer Ridge and Lester will see the witches twice. Candy will be refilled along Lester Lane for riders.🍬📚🦋
