We’re grateful to have Fred as part of our Hope Garage team.

Fred gives his time and experience to help others feel a little more comfortable and confident around their vehicles. Soon, he’ll be doing just that as one of the instructors for our upcoming Women’s Auto Basics Workshop—sharing practical knowledge in a welcoming space where it’s okay to ask questions and learn something new.

It’s volunteers like Fred who make these opportunities possible. Thank you, Fred, for being willing to share what you know and invest in our community. 💚

Something fresh is happening at Hope Center!
You may notice things looking a little different around here. 💚
Our volunteers recently tackled the landscaping bricks along the side of the building, gathering them up, putting them back in place, and securing them so they stay looking neat and professional.
And this weekend, the Painters Union got to work cleaning the brick exterior of the building as we begin the next stage of giving Hope Center a fresh new look.
This is just the beginning. 👀
Little by little, with the help of people who care about this space and our community, Hope Center is getting a facelift.
Stay tuned, we have more improvements coming!

🌱 Growing Curiosity Through STEAM! 🐟🥬

During this year’s STEAM Camp, our campers got hands-on with our Flex Farms, learning how to harvest different kinds of produce—from peppers and cucumbers to lettuce and fresh herbs.

Using our Flex Farms and aquaponics systems, students got to see firsthand where their food comes from while building curiosity, asking questions, and thinking critically about how we grow and produce food.

And now, we’re opening the door for our community to learn more! 🌿💧

🌱 Growing, Learning & Connecting! 💚

What a great Saturday at Hope Center! We had the opportunity to learn more about hydroponics and the incredible work happening in our Indoor Garden. 🥬💧

A special thank you to Geno McKenna, one of the people behind our Indoor Garden, for sharing his hands-on experience with growing, harvesting, and keeping our hydroponic systems running. Geno has a gift for making everything easy to understand and making learning fun!

We loved seeing our community come together, ask questions, get hands-on, and learn more about how we can grow fresh food right here in our community. 🌱❤️
