REMINDER:
Board meeting TONIGHT at 8:00 PM in the Civic Center basement
(The Civic Center is the building next to the library.)

We currently have volunteers for all positions but we do need a few more volunteers to shadow positions this year as we have a few members leaving after the 2027 season. This includes the president, scheduling and field positions.
BGR Little League is run entirely by volunteers. As our players get older and families move on from the league, we need new parents to step in and help keep the program running.

You don't need to be a baseball expert, and you don't need to know exactly how you can help before coming to the meeting.

We hope you'll consider attending and finding a way to be part of what makes BGR Little League special.

Hi friends,

Tomorrow night is the next board meeting and it is an important one as this is when we vote in the board for the 2027 season.

Hi friends,
As we start planning for the 2027 Little League season, we have several Board positions that need to be filled, and we’d love to see some new parents/guardians get involved.
BGR Little League is run entirely by volunteers. As our players get older and families move on from the league, we need new parents to step in and help keep the program running. The league we have today exists because parents before us were willing to volunteer their time — and now it’s our turn to keep it going for the next generation.
The good news is that there are lots of different ways to help. Some roles require only a few hours throughout the year, while others involve more regular participation. You don't need to be a baseball expert, and you don't need to know exactly how you can help before coming to the meeting.
Our next Board meeting is September 8 at 8:00 PM in the Civic Center basement
(The Civic Center is the building next to the library.)
Come to the meeting, hear about the different roles, ask questions, and see if there’s something that might be a good fit for you. There is absolutely no obligation to commit that night.
Whether you can give a few hours a year or a few hours a month, every bit helps. It truly takes a village to keep this league going, and we need as many parents/guardians as possible to get involved.
We hope you'll consider coming out on September 8 and finding a way to be part of what makes BGR Little League special.
Thank you!
