Coming out to Shaheen Chevrolet of Lansing for our wonderful annual AUTISM BBQ / educational program on Thursday June 25 for our members and partners in the Lansing Regional Area to learn more about some projects currently being constructed to make accessibility grow more those on the autism spectrum or any neurodiverse capacity in the tourism industry.

Beloved 'Mister Rogers' Neighborhood star' dies days before 100th birthday ⬇️

We lost one of our Neighborhood Heroes from childhood that our founder Xavier DeGroat who had even a chance to speak to that inspired the works of our community engagement this weekend while Fred Rogers welcomes an old friend and neighbor back home to heaven, a great jazz musician Joe Negri.

“Thank you Joe for all the wonderful memories, of wisdom, music and magic. You and Mr. Rogers continue to inspire generations that carry peace of mind today for many including Neurodivergents.” - Xavier DeGroat

Fred Rogers once said “We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It's easy to say, 'It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem. Then there are those who see the need and respond I consider those people my heroes.”

The Xavier DeGroat Autism Foundation was proud to be one of the leading Sponsors of an ALL Inclusive Playground for the City of Grand Ledge Government that will help those with disabilities enjoy being out and staying active!

Please come check it out and enjoy its access it provides to families with autism! Soon to come is also a communication board that we will be installing there to help neurodivergents navigate the social-environment and better obtain info of what’s around the Grand Ledge Area!
