Challenge Grant for Community Endowment
Bigfork Valley Community Foundation is excited to announce that it has received a challenge grant to build an endowment for the Bigfork Valley Community Foundation.
Matching Grant Opportunity
This is a 1-to-1 matching grant. The grant source will contribute up to $100,000, and the Foundation’s goal is to match that amount locally with $100,000, creating a total endowment of $200,000.
Purpose of the Endowment
The endowment will be used to further enhance our giving area community and support the Foundation’s mission.
Our Mission
The Bigfork Valley Community Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to address current and future needs of the Northern Itasca Hospital District and its communities through charitable contributions.

The Edge of the Wilderness area is updating its comprehensive plan. It involves the communities of the City of Effie, City of Bigfork, Marcell Township, Stokes Township, and Bigfork Township.
The process is nearing completion, but there is still opportunity for additional public input.
