Hello Families!

Our first tournament is quickly approaching and we are still looking for a few key volunteer positions to make sure our tournament weekend runs smoothly and successfully! If you have yet to sign up for your volunteer hours please consider signing up to help us the weekend of June 27-28.

Positions we are in need of:
🌟 2 people to grill on Saturday - 1 in the AM & 1 in the PM
🌟 1 person to grill Sunday PM
🌟 Concessions Sunday PM
🌟 Field Workers Sunday PM

Congratulations to our 8U Black team for earning 2nd Place in Pool Play A at last weekend’s tournament! Your hard work, determination, and teamwork were on full display all weekend long.

🥎 12U battled hard this weekend at the Watertown Royal Rumble! 🥈

The girls finished 2nd Place in the Platinum Bracket and posted an impressive 4-1 record on the weekend.

🥎 8U at the Elk River School’s Out Tournament! 🐝

Way to compete, ladies! Our 8U team had a great time battling it out at the School’s Out Tournament in Elk River. The girls played hard, showed tremendous teamwork, and continued to grow with every game.

10U Black earned a 2nd-place finish in the Platinum Bracket at the Royal Rumble Tournament in Watertown this weekend!

The girls battled through tough competition and hot temperatures, showing tremendous grit and teamwork. We’re incredibly proud of this group and their impressive 17-game unbeaten streak dating back to May 2. Great weekend, girls!

Hello BLFPA Families,

I wanted to provide an update on our tournament schedule and volunteer opportunities for the remainder of the season.

Originally, we had three tournament weekends planned:

10U State Tournament
High School Qualifier Tournament
Possible 14U/High School State Tournament
The first two weekends are still moving forward as planned and currently have volunteer signups available.

Recently, we were approached with the opportunity to host the 10U C State Tournament on June 27-28. We have accepted that opportunity and will be hosting the event at Orono Park (DAAC) in Elk River.

Because of volunteer availability and our goal of putting on quality events, the potential 14U/High School State Tournament weekend is no longer being pursued at this time. If you previously signed up for shifts associated with that weekend, please take a moment to sign up for a new shift when your schedule allows. If you have yet to sign up for your volunteer hours, please also take a moment to sign up with all of the links attached below.

I apologize for the change in plans, but this decision is what we believe is best for the association as a whole. Our goal is to host successful tournaments, provide volunteer opportunities for families, and ensure we have the staffing needed to run great events for players, families, and visiting teams.
