The Mountaineer Chapter of the Izaak Walton League was formed in 1956 and is located 5 miles east of Beverly, WV, on the headwaters of Files Creek in Randolph County. To assure this knowledge is passed on, many youth activities are sponsored by our chapter. We offer prime hunting on our 1100 acres of mountain land. We also have a small pond that we stock twice each year; once with trout and once w
ith catfish, that provide members and their families with catch and release fishing.
