We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who attended the Fish Derby and Pig Roast over the weekend. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, we experienced great turnouts.

Due to the rain, we had to adjust our plans during the pig roast, but it nonetheless went off successfully and everyone went home with full bellies. Congratulations to the winners of the numerous raffles.

We’d also like to thank all the businesses, individuals and organizations that helped make the day possible.

NOTICE!!!! The Derby has been relocated to Bennett Park Pond. Unfortunately, Meckauer Pond's water level dropped over a foot today and a large algae bloom has formed, rendering it un-fishable and potentially lethal to stocked fish. We had no alternative but to stock the fish to Bennett Park Pond and relocate the Derby.

Bennett is very small but we’re going to make due with what we have.

We've had a couple questions regarding the Pig Roast, so we figured this should help clear some things up:

It starts at 4:00pm, there will be some appetizers on the tables when you arrive, plus the clams. The clams are going to be a separate table to ease congestion for all. We will begin to call tables up to the buffet line for the first round of food at approximately 4:30, (That way you don't have to wait in line for a while like in the past and everyone can get their meal in a timely manner). Once all tables are called everyone can come up for 2nds, 3rds, etc! Dessert will be at approx. 6:30 along with the raffle drawings.

Also, don't let the forcast scare you, It's rain or shine! We're under the large pavillion with plenty of space! 😀
