I just want to give a shout out to these students for loving the kids in our children’s department so well. They have served Jesus all week by serving all the kids this week at VBS. They have done an amazing job and make me beyond proud. They are making eternal investments. And the kids at BNC love them so much. Huge shout out to Pastor Laura who runs a sweet VBS. It is always top notch. Thanks for giving our students an opportunity to serve.

We had an incredible week at camp. Students rededicated their lives to Jesus. They learned what it means to disconnect in order to reconnect with Jesus. They were challenged to live in the spirit instead of the flesh. And they were invited to journey on finding their identity, to find their purpose, and to find out how they live that purpose out. So blessed to do life with these students. So blessed to be part of SWO. It was a blessed week from God. Get ready Utah we are on our way in a week.

Important Update: Last night at teen camp there were several tornado warnings after the students were in their dorms. During the warnings adults sheltered in place with students and it made us have a later night than expected. Thankfully there were no tornadoes or dangerous conditions that occurred at Higher Ground. We never even lost power. Our students are amazing troopers. And while they are all tired. They are up and ready for the day. Please pray that they have an amazing day connecting to Jesus!

7 down! 0 to go! Tonight we also celebrated Lauren. She has been in my life the longest. Our families have attended church together for 13 years. Lauren, I have seen you in children’s productions at church. I have watched you in VBS games and crafts. Then as a teenager I watched you lead games and crafts. You have always made me smile. Whether it was through pure silliness or putting make up on our intern. I am so proud of all your hard work. Never let go of Jesus! Your story isn’t finished yet! Love ya!
