Today, we laid to rest our beloved Chief Rabban, Honorary Past Imperial Potentate Cornelius Easter Sr., a devoted Noble, respected leader, mentor, and cherished member of Malik Temple #270.
As a Charter Member, our first High Priest and Prophet, and Director of Shriners as Mentors (SAM’s), he played an instrumental role in shaping our Temple and establishing a legacy of Nobility, Excellence, and Service.
We will deeply miss his wisdom, guidance, encouraging words, and that unforgettable smile with which he greeted everyone. Though he has passed from labor to reward, his legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the work he helped establish.
We sincerely thank the numerous Temples, Courts, Nobles, and Daughters throughout the Domain for the condolences, prayers, and expressions of love extended to our Temple and the Easter family. We extend special appreciation to Noble Derrick Webble ( #195), DoO Ronnie Eatmon ( #221), and HPIP Dr. Bertram Thomas ( #242), who traveled from out of town to stand with us and participate in the Burial Tribute. Your presence and support meant more than words can express.
We continue to extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his wife, children, family, the Easter Soldiers, and all who knew and loved him.
