We will be continuing to serve and take donations at the Mission House at least a couple more weeks. We are so excited for what is to come!! Be praying for us at Garrett’s Place and our new part of the ministry.

We have been so blessed by First Financial Bank with these school supplies to give to the kids coming through Garrett’s Place. Back to school is always a busy time for school supplies but at Garrett's Place we need them year around for kids coming into care. Thank you First Federal Bank!!

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. 🎒
Big high five to our FFB family across every branch! 🙌 When we found out Garrett's Place, a Bessemer organization founded by Paula and David Tarwater, was collecting school supplies for local foster children and the families who care for them, our team didn't hesitate.

Backpacks, folders, crayons, pencils, and more, our employees pitched in enough to fill two large carts top and bottom, all on their own.

We are growing!!! With that being said, that growth has me away from Garrett’s Place this week. I will be back next Tuesday 10-2. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but I promise you what’s coming is AMAZING!!!

I know it’s July but Christmas will be here before we know it!!
We do a lot for the children in care at Christmas. We will need hands and feet, supplies, toys and monetary help. It gets bigger and better every year. Last year we were able love on over 600 children just for Christmas. Not possible without you all. This year will be great because of you!!

🩵🩷🩵BABY SHOWER TODAY🩷🩵🩷

I am so thankful to God everyday that we get to serve the amazing little souls that come through Garrett’s Place. I know today at the Mission House they are serving families and will show them the love of Jesus. Today in Bessemer I am getting to shower two babies getting out of the hospital and going to their foster family. From a bed to lay their head on to the clothes on their backs. Thanks to an amazing community we are always able to say, yes. The worker came and picked up for the little lady and our little fellows, foster family will come get for him in a bit. To get to love on these babies is so healing and I never take it for granted and I don’t think I ever will.

I love our community!! Because our kids in care get luggage. No child has to ever use trash bags!!
