As we reach the last hour of NH Gives, I want to thank you all. Thank you for your donations. Thank you for the unwavering love. Not just today, but every day. You guys always show up for us and make what we do possible.

I know we won’t reach our goal, but every single dollar helps us. We still have vet bills to pay off and your donations help us put a dent in that amount. Your donations help us say yes to seemingly impossible task of adding more old, fragile friends to the pack.

This is a collage of all the dogs we’ve lost since I started the rescue. To some, it’s a lot. To others, it will never be enough. These dogs mean more to me than I’ll ever be able to put into words. My entire life revolves around them, and I think they’d say the same about me. There has been a lot of really really gut wrenching goodbyes in the past year. I don’t ever really get time to process it all. I just want you all to know how much of a difference you all make in our lives. There is nothing that hurts me more than saying goodbye but one of my favorite things on the planet is rescuing a new dog. The first moments in the house and showing them the ropes of living inside. I wish they could all live forever.

Until their last breath

It doesn’t matter if I’m sick, or having a bad day. Christmas, my birthday, my ‘weekend’, they still need to be taken care of. When someone needs a 2 hour chauffeur to the emergency vet at midnight, I’m there.

There’s no time card here, no sick days, no requests off. No matter how old they grow, we stand by them. Even when their bodies are slow or accidents are frequent, when they can’t see or hear anymore. When they’re tired and don’t like adventures anymore, we don’t give up on them.

Thank you all for the continued support. Your donations have helped us change the lives of so many incredible dogs. I’m so thankful I get to share them all with you.
