New Hampshire's crisis centers participated in the annual The National Network to End Domestic Violence's Survey in September 2025, and the results from NHโ€”and across the nationโ€”were released today. This one-day snapshot highlights the critical, life-saving support provided to survivors in our state.

In just 24 hours:
๐Ÿ”น 222 victims were served;
๐Ÿ”น 118 adults and children found safe refuge in emergency shelters, transitional housing, hotels, motels, or other program-provided housing; and,
๐Ÿ”น 104 adults and children received essential non-residential services, including transportation, housing assistance, court accompaniment, therapy, and more.

All relationships exist on a spectrum from healthy to abusive, with unhealthy in between.

๐Ÿงก A healthy relationship means that both you and your partner are communicative and talk openly about problems and listen to each other.

๐Ÿ’” An unhealthy relationship is one in which you and your partner might be non-communicative, and when problems arise, you fight or you donโ€™t discuss them at all.

๐Ÿ˜Ÿ A relationship that is abusive can exhibit issues like communicating harmfully and can include threatening, insulting, or demeaning you.

This yearโ€™s theme cuts through the noise by focusing on what real love should look and feel like. In a world full of mixed messages, this theme centers around one truth: Respect is non-negotiable.

It empowers youths to recognize harmful patterns early and to expect more from love. Because respect is everything, itโ€™s earned, itโ€™s honest, and it never makes you question your worth.

Remember: If itโ€™s real, itโ€™s respectful.
