Washington High School Tennis is hosting the 2026 Eastern Panhandle Open #1 Tennis Tournament on Saturday, 6/27 at Washington High School. All players are guaranteed 2 matches. You can register at https://app.utrsports.net/events/379919. All proceeds benefit the WHS Tennis Program. Adults, Juniors, and kids...the tournament is open to everyone ages 8 and up! Divisions will be set up based on UTR rating and skill level.

The Morgan County Tennis Association's Adult Tennis Program for Spring, Summer, and Fall is now underway, offering sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Saturday afternoons from 12:30-2:00 p.m., providing opportunities for community adults to engage in tennis until November. The tennis courts are situated on Warm Springs Way Trail, accessible off Warm Springs Way road.

In the 2026 Spring season, the Middle School tennis players are involved in a considerable amount of tennis games, mostly doubles. Coach Nelson has concentrated on developing serve and return techniques, followed by an emphasis on footwork. The players including new ones, Kirra, Jaxson, Hunter, and Maya, are exhibiting marked improvement and competitiveness alongside established players Makenzie, Julianna, Livy, Bella, Parker, Lyric, Emma, Bryce, and Lvish. This group embodies the spirit of middle school tennis excellence. MCTA is most grateful for coaches, Nelson, Bob, Ryan, Georgia and Paula.
