MAC Ice House

MAC Ice House MAC fosters a vibrant art community in Berkeley Springs. For over 40 years, it has provided a platform for artists of all disciplines.

The Ice House hosts exhibitions, performances, workshops, and events that celebrate the arts' transformative power. Known to all as MAC, the Morgan Arts Council produces a year 'round program of community arts including a summer concerts in the park series, arts in the schools, after school arts, curated gallery shows in the Ice House special gallery, the Ice House Theater Project, Ice House Concerts, art classes for adults -- and more!

There are only two weeks left to visit our Quilt Show at the Ice House!

If you haven’t had a chance to see this beautiful collection of quilts, now is the perfect time to stop by and enjoy the incredible craftsmanship, creativity, and stories stitched into each piece.

The galleries are open Thursday–Sunday, 11 AM–5 PM. Come spend an afternoon exploring the Quilt Show and our other galleries while you’re here!

In One Week, the Ice House Theater Project's Free Workshops start back up!

Ever heard someone say “upstage,” “strike,” or “break a leg” and wondered what they meant? This workshop will cover the essential terminology used by actors, directors, stage managers, and technicians so you can feel more confident communicating in a theater setting.

We’ll explore the language of the stage, backstage, rehearsals, lighting, sound, costumes, props, and more. Then we’ll put your new knowledge to the test with a fun round of Theater Terminology Trivia! Whether you’re a longtime theater person or completely new to the theater world, there’s something to learn—and plenty of opportunities to show off what you know.'

🎶 Join us this Friday, August 28, for the final Friday Night Concert of the MAC 2026 Summer Concert Series featuring the incredible Jessie Milnes Band on the Charlotte's Cafe Garden Stage. Doors open at 6 PM, and music starts at 7 PM!

It’s the perfect way to close out an unforgettable summer of live music at the Ice House. Bring your friends, grab a bite to eat from Hicksville Barbecue, and settle in for a night of great music, good company, and plenty of dancing!

🎷🌳 TONIGHT: ONE LAST CONCERT IN THE PARK! 🌳🎷

It’s the final Concert in the Park of the summer, and we’re ending the 2026 MAC Summer Concert Series in style!

Join us TONIGHT at 5:30 PM in Berkeley Springs State Park for an evening of swinging jazz with the fantastic Rick Reaves Jazz Orchestra! 🎺🎶

Grab your lawn chair or blanket, bring your friends and family, and come enjoy one last summer evening filled with great music and community.

We’ve had an incredible summer of music, and we can’t think of a better way to wrap it up than with one more night together in the park. ❤️
