🎨 AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMMING IS BACK AT THE ICE HOUSE! 🎨

We’re excited to bring back after-school programming presented by the Morgan Arts Council at the Ice House on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays throughout the year!

Starting in November, students of all ages are invited to join us at the Ice House for fun, creative after-school activities! We’re kicking things off by creating holiday-themed meter covers in support of the Town of Bath’s Deck the Meters celebration this December! 🎄✨

💛 The best part? These programs are FREE! Thanks to the Opportunity Fund and our generous additional sponsors, we can provide these creative opportunities for local students.

🖌️ Sign up your students today! Give them a chance to explore their creativity, connect with their community, and make something special.

📍 Join us at the Ice House and help us keep creativity thriving in Morgan County!

If you have extra supplies like fabrics, glue, concrete tubes, tomato cages, and other items that would be great to help us with this project, please drop them by the Ice House during office hours, Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Mark your calendars! CJ Davis is back with us on Saturday, October 24th, for another great round of self-portraits & sketches. This is a great class to learn the basics and then some. CJ will guide participants through the foundational skills with various media.

Tonight, we will host a reception to mark the close of the online auction for When Science Meets Art, the collection by Dr. Norberta Schoene & Dr. Bill Lands. Online bidding will still be available from 6 PM to 8 PM, and winners can pick up their artwork starting at 8:15 PM.

Bring home a beautiful piece of artwork from an amazing couple and celebrate the arts. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Two events tomorrow at the Ice House!

Come get messy in Indigo with Jane Frenke in our upcoming MACreate class, learning how to dye with indigo. This class is great for all ages. Come comfy and plan to get a little messy. Tuition is $30 for Members and $36 for the general public.

Then, starting at 6:00 PM, is our reception to close out the online auction, When Science Meets Art, a collection of Dr. Norberta Schoene and Dr. Bill Lands pieces being sold to benefit the Morgan Arts Council.

Pick up your Berkeley Springs Studio Tour Map at the Ice House during MAC Office Hours (Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM) or during Ice House Gallery Hours (Thursday to Sunday, 11 AM to 5 PM).

We have a limited supply, so come grab yours before we run out! You can find them in the Mercer Street Lobby, Ice House Gallery, and near the MAC Office Door.

40 Years of Art, Creativity & Community

For 40 years, the Berkeley Springs Studio Tour has welcomed art lovers to the mountains of West Virginia to discover the work of talented local and regional artists. Visitors come from near and far to spend the weekend exploring studios, meeting artists, and experiencing art where it is created.

This year’s tour features 16 juried artists working in an exciting variety of mediums, including pottery, quilting, jewelry, woodworking, mobiles, home décor, clothing, painting, printmaking, weaving, and more.

Here are the artists participating in this year’s tour. Come meet the artists, visit their creative spaces, watch demonstrations, learn about their processes, and find one-of-a-kind pieces to take home.

The Ice House Galleries are open today starting at 11 AM. Come check out the Ice House Co-Op space, our special exhibit featuring beautiful pottery pieces curated by Crawford Horne in his show "From Soup to Nuts, a diversity of ceramic forms and methods"

Scope out the solo shows in our Hall of Dreams and Carr-Kelly spaces featuring Rebekah Anderson and Payton Brown's works, and towards our second-floor movement studio are pieces from the Dr. Norberta Schoene and Dr. Bill Lands collection for sale to benefit the Morgan Arts Council.

The Ice House Galleries are open from Thursday to Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM.
