What a night! Late last month, OhioGuidestone Stark and Summit staff came together for a Akron RubberDucks game, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful weather, great food, an exciting game and fireworks to cap it all off.

Cuyahoga County School Services has successfully wrapped up another incredible school year, providing services and support to 106 schools across Cuyahoga County!

Throughout the year, our dedicated Therapists and Behavioral Health Specialists made a meaningful impact in the lives of countless students, families, and school communities. We are so excited to share that a Free Little Pantry is now available outside our Youth Resiliency and Counseling Center and Discovery Recovery House in Medina!

This community gem was made possible by Medina City Schools High School seniors Glenna Klickman and Justin Vale, who spent their senior year planning, fundraising, building, and painting the pantry as their capstone project. We are so grateful for their dedication and generosity.

The pantry is open to anyone in our community. Take what you need, give what you can. Accepted items include non-perishable food, hygiene products, and books.

This spring, President & CEO Brant Russell, Chief of Staff | Chief Strategy & Legal Officer, Mary Stiles, and Assistant VP of Belonging, Advocacy and Purpose, Courtney Johnson-Benson at OhioGuidestone took our mission to the Statehouse for Spring Advocacy Days in Columbus.

During these visits they were joined by partners and colleagues across 14 meetings with Senate and House members where they shared the inspiring stories of the individuals, families, and communities we serve.

These visits gave us the opportunity to highlight many of our programs and services, including:

✅ReadyCare Walk-in Clinics for Behavioral Health
✅Ohio's Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) for helping young clients in a crisis
✅Specialized managed care program OhioRISE
✅Our Workforce 360° job readiness program, Medicaid realities for clients and providers
✅And the importance of comprehensive community behavioral health programs

Most importantly, we were able to connect our advocacy priorities to what matters most: the everyday work of our teams and the real needs of Ohioans seeking care, stability, and support.
