Sometimes love arrives in the form of a suitcase💼❤️
We are incredibly grateful to five compassionate mothers from the Calhoun Seventh-day Adventist Church in Georgia who lovingly filled an entire suitcase with baby clothes, diapers, blankets, rattles, and essential newborn supplies for the Canvasback Wellness Center’s New Kids program!
This past mission trip, this precious cargo was hand-carried across the ocean by Celena Alvarez Aguirre, RN, a member of our visiting ENT medical volunteer team. When the suitcase was opened, Canvasback Missions co-founder Jacque Spence and members of the wellness center staff gathered around with smiles as each thoughtfully chosen item was unpacked.
These gifts will go directly into the hands of new and expectant mothers in the community, bringing comfort, encouragement, and practical support during an important season of life.
To the mothers from the Calhoun church: thank you for your generosity, kindness, and servant hearts. Your love is reaching families across the Pacific and helping give the littlest ones in the community a healthier start!
And thank you as well to our dedicated volunteer teams who continue to carry hope, healing, and compassion wherever they serve. ❣️
