What a day! 185 entries, a fantastic venue AND good weather? We could not have asked for more. Thank you Tanner and General Duffy’s, Oregon Screen Impressions, Bend Inn and Suites, Sunriver Resort, Dutch Bros. Did you win the gift cards in the raffle or get a tank top at our vendor tent? Those were donated by our board members, Jeremy and Kacey. Thanks to Deleon Designs for the medals and plaques we gave out to the winners. Most importantly, thank you to the people who step up every year to donate their time in helping make the tournament run. Pastor Mark, Louis Horvath, Ryan Espey, Ocean Taylor, Elijah Mason, Peter Lalande, Michael Watson for helping referee and Sean Pickering for helping announce matches. Tammy knocked out the brackets and the tournament was finished two hours earlier than the year before.
Thank you to all the athletes for coming to Redmond/Bend from Canada, New York, South Carolina, California, Washington, Idaho and all over Oregon. Thanks to Daniel Schwarz for setting up our live stream and Nano for taking the close up shots of the tournament.
Thanks to Robert and Tara Terry for providing cash payouts to the women’s winners.
And finally Aimee, Aaron, Makenna, Kacey, Jairin and Kendal for helping set up, grab things we forgot, make t shirts, promote the raffle and just being part of team LLD.
