Students in our Construction Summer Academy explored the fundamentals of construction through hands-on learning! They learned measurement, safety and PPE, blueprint reading, and how to safely use hand and power tools.

In partnership with , students designed and built mud kitchens that will be enjoyed by children and families visiting the outdoor learning space for years to come.

We're proud of the skills they built and the lasting impact of their work! 🛠👷🏻‍♀️👏

Intro to Healthcare - Week 4

Students wrapped up the Intro to Healthcare Summer Academy by stepping into the roles of healthcare professionals across a variety of hospital departments. Through hands-on activities, they explored pediatric care and newborn assessments, practiced dental health education techniques, and gained experience with EKG lead placement, X-rays, and basic suturing.

Students also had the opportunity to use common healthcare tools, including stethoscopes, penlights, and otoscopes, while learning how these skills support patient care and assessment.

From the exam room to the imaging department, students gained a deeper understanding of the teamwork, skills, and compassion needed to make a difference in healthcare. ❤
