South Tishomingo County Food Pantry Our goal is to serve the community as the hands and feet of Christ who deserves all glory for making this possible.

South Tishomingo County Food Pantry, formerly the BUMC Food Pantry, was established in 2014 and has grown exponentially from a small room in Belmont United Methodist Church to the current facility, located at 11 Front Street in Belmont. STC Food Pantry is now financially supported by numerous churches, organizations, and individuals throughout Belmont and surrounding communities. STC Food Pantry s

erves members of the Belmont, Tishomingo, Dennis, and Golden communities. If you are in need of services, please contact us via our email address or Messenger. STC Food Pantry succeeds due to the efforts of many volunteers. If you are looking for the opportunity for hands-on ministry in your community, STC Food Pantry is a wonderful way to do just that. 🏠🚿 WARMING STATION & HOT SHOWERS AVAILABLE 🚿🏠

The Blue Springs Lodge is open and available as a warming station, and hot showers are available 24/7 at the Belmont Fire Department.

At this time, our warming shelter is available exclusively, as other residents who were staying there have been able to return home after regaining power. If you are cold, without power, or without water, please know that help is available.

🏡 Blue Springs Lodge offers:
• Cots for sleeping
• Two couches
• A mini kitchen
• Space to set up a TV for children

📞 If you need a warm place to stay, please call 662-279-0906.

Please don’t feel like a burden—consider it a blessing for us to be able to take care of you. With cold temperatures expected this weekend, we encourage anyone in need not to be too prideful to call. Your safety and well-being matter to us.

Instead, we will operate on Friday, January 23rd, with extended hours from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. ⏰

We would like to recognize Carolyn Credille and celebrate her recent honor as the 2025 Volunteer of the Year, awarded by the Tishomingo County Development Foundation.

Carolyn received this recognition at the annual dinner held last Thursday night at JP Coleman State Park.

If you’ve ever been to the South Tishomingo County Food Pantry, you likely know exactly who Miss Carolyn is. She keeps everything running smoothly, brings order to our chaos, and has been a driving force in expanding the pantry’s reach and impact over the past decade.

While she’d never take credit herself, it’s clear that our work and the support we’re able to provide to our community would be much harder without her steady leadership, dedication, and heart for service.
