Bethany, your journey is a powerful reminder that cancer doesn’t get to define the size of your life. As a metastatic breast cancer (MBC) thriver, mindset coach, author, adventurer, and professional oversharer, you’ve chosen to meet life with an open heart, a fearless spirit, and a seriously great sense of humor.

We couldn’t be more excited to be gifting our very first mountain bike to Kelly Fleming! 🚵‍♀️❤️

Kelly has shown incredible courage, strength, and determination in battling breast cancer. In recognition of her journey, Kelly received the Bikes Heal Summit Award. Now, she’s ready to climb a different summit with a mountain bike!

We partnered with our friends at Specialized, who helped us with the purchase of Kelly’s Specialized Stumpjumper Comp. We couldn’t think of a better bike—or a better person—to mark this milestone for Bikes Heal.

For us, this is about much more than a bike. It’s about reclaiming strength, confidence, and joy. It’s about reconnecting with the outdoors and remembering that life after cancer can be an adventure, too.

Today we’re honored to present the Bikes Heal Great Beautiful Mind (GBM) Award to Taylor Ford.

At just 27 years old, Taylor was diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer. She was given 14 months to live.

That was nearly three years ago.

Through surgeries, treatment, and incredible determination, Taylor has refused to let cancer define her. Instead, she’s focused on living fully, getting stronger, and embracing every opportunity to get back outside and move.

To help support that journey, Bikes Heal is proud to gift Taylor a Trek Domane AL 4 road bike.

This bike represents more than miles on the road. It represents resilience. Freedom. Recovery. And the reminder that there is still so much life to be lived.

A huge thank you to our friends at Trek Bicycle Golden for helping make this gift possible. Together, we’re proving that healing doesn’t end when treatment does.

We're currently looking for Colorado cancer survivors who are within 18 months of completing treatment and could benefit from receiving a bike through our program.

Meet Daniel, a Stage 4 prostate cancer survivor who is proving that hope has no finish line.

After several years away from cycling—and having to sell his road bike—Daniel is back in the saddle thanks to a State Bicycle Co. 6061 All-Road Series gravel bike sponsored by Almanac.

In just a short time, he's already ridden 100 miles and is using those miles to participate in the Great Cycle Challenge, raising money to help fight kids' cancer.
