This department is just south of us in Itawamba co. They come to us when we need them and we go to them when they need us. So go out and help them so they can help their community and who knows the next call they get might be to Tishomingo county. To back us up at your house. They are a great group of people. Because before I came to Golden fd as chief I was in that group of men and women. So if you don't have plans for this Saturday go get you a plate and tell em thank you and your praying for them

🔥 Burn Ban in Effect – City of Belmont & Tishomingo County 🔥

Due to current conditions, burning is extremely dangerous. Dry ground, wind, and changing conditions can cause fires to spread quickly and get out of control in a matter of minutes—putting lives, homes, and property at risk.

Effective immediately, the City of Belmont & Tishomingo County is issuing a Burn Ban until further notice.

Over the past several days, our Belmont Fire Department and other county departments have been overworked, responding to multiple fire calls. We must do our part to reduce the risk and protect our community and those who serve it.

🚫 No outdoor burning is allowed during this time.

We ask everyone to take this seriously and help prevent unnecessary emergencies.
