Ahoy there mateys!
Have ye scallywags ever fancied life on the high seas? Well now’s ye chance to hoist a mug and sing out merry in our Spring 2027 production – Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, running from March 12th-27th, 2027 with music director Guy Russo and stage director Johnny Gallagher.
Auditions for Pirates of Penzance are this upcoming November 21st from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm, and Sunday, November 22nd from 2:30pm to 5:00 pm at the Pittsburgh Savoyards Margaret Partee Performing Arts Center, by appointment only.
Prepare no more than two minutes of a song that best showcases your voice. Opera (in English), Operetta, or more Traditional (not pop) Broadway recommended. Please bring your sheet music, headshot, and resume. You may also be asked to do a cold reading.
Please fill out an audition form and be sure to indicate which time slot or slots you are available. We will compile the responses into a final schedule and contact you about your scheduled audition time.
