In life’s hardest and most uncertain moments, the kindness and compassion of others can become a powerful light to help carry us through.
In Pahokee, many families have recently been displaced after their apartments were deemed unsafe to live in. Parents are navigating the unimaginable as they try to relocate, find safe places for their children, keep up with basic necessities, and somehow hold life together while everything feels uncertain.
In the middle of this heartbreaking situation, Angela and PBC Charity of Hope have been pouring their hearts into helping these families in every way possible. Day after day, she has been coordinating resources, responding to urgent needs, showing up for families, and working tirelessly to make sure people do not feel forgotten during such a difficult time. We are deeply grateful for her compassion, leadership, and servant’s heart, and honored to stand alongside these efforts.
Through both the Lighthouse Cafe and Ella’s Closet, meals, hygiene bags, clothing, shoes, and essentials for children and families are being distributed to help meet immediate needs during this transition.
So much good is already being done because of the people and organizations stepping forward to help, but the needs remain significant and ongoing as families work to rebuild and navigate what comes next.
If you feel led to help, continued support is still greatly needed. Donations, resources, and community support can make a meaningful difference for these families right now.

Thank you to everyone who has shown up with love, compassion, prayers, donations, and support for those experiencing such a difficult time. It truly means more than words can express. 🙏
