The Countywide Transportation Master Plan will establish a shared vision for mobility across all modes, including driving, walking, biking, transit, freight, and emerging technologies, to provide a safer and better-connected countywide framework that will guide decisions to address short- and mid-term needs while preparing Palm Beach County for growth through 2050. Today we honor fathers, fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society!

It was HOT🥵… but we got it done! Today we provided more than 60,000 lbs of food to people in the Glades that needed it at the 5th Annual Summer Food Drive! We’ve done this very important food drive in partnership with the Urban League of Palm Beach County, Inc., WPTV Channel 5, Farm Share, and many other sponsors that support making sure that families and kids have fresh food during the summer, for five years and it gets bigger every year. Thanks so much to Florida Crystals Corporation for their donation of rice and sugar and always helping the Glades community where assistance is needed. We send a special THANK YOU to all of the dedicated sponsors as well as our amazing group of volunteers that got up this morning at 5:30am to help bring smiles to the faces of our visitors. Thank you to the ladies of the Belle Glade Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority for assisting with registration - a very important role as these are the first faces that visitors see when they enter the distribution site. PBSO - Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office officers and Youth Explorers are always a great help in supporting the community and they did just that today. A huge THANK YOU to Restoration Bridge International for always sending food products to the Glades and for being a part of this morning’s distribution. And thank you to the City of Belle Glade for your continued support and commitment to ensuring that people facing food insecurity have opportunities available to receive assistance. We look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s 6th Annual Summer Food Drive!
