Operation Resolute We are a 501(c)3 organization serving active military personnel and family members in NC.

Operation Resolute® is dedicated to sustaining and strengthening families within the US Armed Forces by serving with and working through military chaplains. By partnering with chaplains, Operation Resolute® works within the parameters of the US military while adorning the Gospel by being salt and light.

1. Strengthening Warriors

Operation Resolute® provides opportunities for servicemen and their chaplains to come together in safe outdoor environments to help them decompress from the stresses of military life. These events also allow dads the chance to bond with their children as they spend time in the woods or on the water enjoying the peace and beauty of creation together.

2. Sustaining Military Families

Operation Resolute® partners with chaplains to host one day marriage enrichment events that are designed to address the unique needs of military husbands and wives so that marriages are solid, parent/child relationships are positive and the overall family dynamic is healthy.

3. Serving Chaplains

Operation Resolute® provides care to the “care givers” who are on call 24/7. Operation Resolute® offers outdoor activities and marriage retreats that enable chaplains to spend time with their children and wives in environments that foster deeper relationships.

What a day at the 2026 Operation Resolute Fall Sporting Clay Challenge! 🇺🇸

On Friday, October 2, shooters, supporters and friends came together at Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville, NC to support the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country. Every team on the course and every shot fired helped raise support for our veterans and their families.

🏆 Congratulations to our winners!
🥇 Team Piedmont Service Group (147)
🥈 Combat Construction (137)
🥉 Lee Holder's team (134)
🎯 Top Shooter: Clint Morgan, 47 of 50

A huge thank you to our sponsors who made this day possible: ACR Supply, Andrews Executive, Absher Wealth, Piedmont Service Group, Marsh Agency and Combat Construction. Thank you to City BBQ for keeping everyone fed at the Smokehouse, and a special thanks to Cole Roach () for wonderful words and the support shown thereafter.

To everyone who signed up, showed up and shot with us: thank you. You are why we can keep Serving Those Who Sacrifice.

Couldn't make it out? You can still be part of the mission. Every dollar goes toward supporting our veterans and their families.

Before you sit down to dinner tonight, take a second to think about where it came from.
Somewhere out there, a farmer is still in the field. Long days, late nights, and a whole lot of faith that the weather holds and the crop comes in. And on this particular day, he had some company. A bald eagle, standing in the stubble like it was keeping watch over the whole thing.
That's America. People working hard on land they love, and the freedom to do it. That freedom was paid for and is still protected by the men and women who serve and the families who stand behind them. It's why we do what we do.
So tonight, say a prayer of thanks for the hands that grow our food and the ones that defend our country.

Operation Resolute is back on the water with Brothers In The Field! The team took some of our soldiers and their children out to fish for bull drum, and the fishing was spectacular! This is exactly what it’s all about, days like this. We are grateful to have partners like Brothers In The Field, who are always there to support the families of those who serve.

New walkways are going in at the lodge! A tremendous thank you to Carolina Concrete Construction llc for pouring them. These walks will make the lodge easier and safer to get around for the chaplains and military families we serve, and we're grateful for their time, work, and generosity. Thank you for supporting our mission!

Inspiring!

🚨INCREDIBLE: On September 11, 2001, about 140 infants and toddlers were inside the Pentagon’s Child Development Center when American Airlines Flight 77 hit the building.

Hanna Born was one of them. She was 3.

She remembers the dance ribbons. Then she remembers a hallway. Nothing in between.

Her baby sister Heather was there too — 4 months old.

Every child was evacuated. Not one was harmed.

Their mother, then a lieutenant colonel (later Brigadier General Dana Born), was at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and had no idea what was happening until it was over. Their father raced through gridlocked traffic to find them.

A few days later he took Hanna back — not to scare her, but so she could see recovery workers still digging, still showing up.

That daycare closed in 2004. The memory did not.

Hanna graduated from the Air Force Academy. Today she is a Captain and TH-1H Huey instructor pilot at Fort Rucker, training the next generation of Army helicopter pilots.

On September 11, 2025 she started running.

2,977 miles. One for every person murdered that day.

She averages just over 8 miles a day. With every mile she says a name out loud.

She once heard that people die twice: once when they stop breathing, and again the last time someone says their name.

Her goal is simple. Make sure that second death never happens.

She finishes the last mile on September 11, 2026 — exactly 25 years after she was carried out of a hallway she barely remembers.

2,977 miles.
2,977 names.
One woman who was too young to understand what happened to her, now old enough to make sure no one else forgets.

Never Forget.
