Looking back on a day that reminded us just how powerful community can be. 🤍

Our Day of Service brought together an incredible group of people willing to roll up their sleeves and give their time, energy, and talents to Lighthouse Ranch.

Every project completed and every helping hand brought us another step closer to creating a place where Montana youth and families can find the support they need, closer to home.

We’re grateful for everyone who showed up and helped move this mission forward. Days like this are a reminder that Lighthouse Ranch is truly being built by a community that cares.

A big step forward for Lighthouse Ranch!

Our campus near Belgrade has officially transferred from HRDC to Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, marking a major milestone in our mission to bring more youth behavioral health care to Southwest Montana.

For years, we have worked alongside our community to build support, raise funds, and move this vision forward. This next chapter brings us closer to helping young people receive the care they need while staying close to their families and support systems.

We are grateful to HRDC for helping secure the property and resources that made this milestone possible, and to Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch for your willingness to serve our community’s youth and families.

To every donor, volunteer, foundation, and community partner who has stood behind Lighthouse Ranch, thank you. Your belief in this mission and willingness to give have helped bring us to this moment.

There is still work ahead, and we are excited to keep moving forward together for Montana youth and families.

When a teen needs mental health care, getting help shouldn’t mean leaving everything behind.

For too many Montana families, accessing the right level of care can mean hours of travel, long waitlists, or sending their child to a facility far from home. Parents may be forced to balance work, caring for other children, traveling or relocating, and trying to stay involved in their teen’s treatment from miles away.

Lighthouse Ranch is working to change that by bringing more behavioral health care closer to home. By expanding access to crisis stabilization and residential care in Montana, teens can stay closer to their families, communities, and support systems while receiving the care they need.

Because care closer to home changes everything.

It takes a community willing to show up and lend a hand to bring a vision like Lighthouse Ranch to life.

A huge thank you to Sunrise Rotary for giving their time and helping with renovations at Lighthouse Ranch. Their hard work and generosity are helping us make meaningful progress toward creating a place that will serve Montana youth and families.

We also want to give major love to Kenyon Noble for generously providing all of the materials and supplies needed for our Day of Service. Their support helped make the day possible and gave our volunteers the tools they needed to get to work and make a difference.

Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, we’re reminded just how important it is to make sure no young person feels like they have to face their hardest moments alone.

At Lighthouse Ranch, we believe Montana’s youth deserve access to compassionate mental health care close to home, surrounded by their families and communities.

We’re excited to see Lighthouse Ranch: A Short Documentary, created by filmmaker Kyler Ernst, screened at the Lone Peak Film Festival in Big Sky this September!

Kyler has done an incredible job capturing the story behind Lighthouse Ranch and the heart of our mission. Through his work, he’s helping bring greater awareness to the need for accessible mental health care for Montana’s youth and families, and we’re grateful to see this story reaching a larger audience.

Join us on Sunday, September 20th at 1:00 PM at The Waypoint in Big Sky. Kyler will also be there following the screening for a Q&A and panel discussion about the film and the story behind Lighthouse Ranch, along with Kirsten Smith.
