We are pleased to announce that our annual fundraiser on September 12th, 2026, was a great success. Together, we raised over $12,000, with nearly $7,000 coming from auctioned pies!

A special thank you is due to each volunteer, pie baker, and silent auction donor. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the event. It’s fair to say that this annual fundraiser is a tradition in Reese Creek!

Without our sponsors, this event would not have been very much fun…we thank the following businesses for their ongoing support:
- MAP Brewing
- Daniels Gourmet Meats & Sausages
- Town & Country in Belgrade
- Frito Lay
- Lehrkinds Inc.
- Costco

The band–Two Step Mothers–was a hit, and Pat Busby & Co. always make for an exciting auction.

We heard several wonderful stories of neighbors connecting, including the following:

A longtime resident almost skipped our barbecue fundraiser, unsure they would know anyone. Inside the old schoolhouse, familiar faces in the historic photographs sparked memories, and a reunion with someone they hadn’t seen in years brought those connections back to life. A reminder that even as Reese Creek changes, its roots and friendships remain strong.

For seven years, two neighbors had waved to each other from their driveways without ever meeting. At our fundraiser, they finally introduced themselves while waiting in line for burgers. Sometimes, building community starts with a shared meal and a simple hello.

If you have a story you would like to share, please leave a comment or message us - we'd love to hear it!
